The following information is Hitachiin Kaoru (aged 22) for the RP

~two brothers

The Hitachiin Brand of clothing is extremely popular in Japan and, to aid in the family business, the twins took up management positions at only 22, straight after graduating from University abroad in Paris. Trying to extend the fashion empire, the brothers started traveling to find places they could open up new main branches and eventually landed in Italy. The choicest piece of real-estate for such a venture turned out to be in Monacello territory.

~so alike and yet they be

All too quickly the brothers discovered the feuding families and heard rumors that, if nothing else, Monacello was not the most powerful or oldest... if anything, it was the most volatile! It was a difficult decision to make, but Kaoru made it for both of them: Kaoru would stay in Reggio Calabria to watch over their venture in case the alignment with Monacello went sour and decisions had to be made quickly. Hikaru would have none of it, but their mother approved of Kaoru's willingness and determination to try to take matters into his own hands. So, Hikaru promised that he would finish the world tour the Hitachiin twins had started together and return when everything was arranged; Kaoru agreed, but only after he and Hikaru had a very intense fight.

~torn to alliances with a new family

Kaoru tried to keep things neutral while still appeasing the Monacello, but quickly realized it would be better to solidify the alliance or dissolve it completely. After receiving so much patronage from one particular Monacello, Tyki Mikk, Kaoru knew he couldn't dissolve the alliance; it is rumored that Tyki's patronage single-handedly got the Reggio Calabria branch of the Hitachiin Brand off the ground, but Kaoru of course denies this. Being a businessman as well as a clothing designer, Kaoru managed to earn himself a position low in the Monacello ranking, but within the family all the same; his free time is now solely dedicated to managing the funds of certain Monacello - namely Tyki, due to his habit of elaborate spending. By patronizing the Hitachiin alone, Kaoru can continue to afford giving Tyki what he desires at more affordable prices, something that the Monacello greatly appreciate.

NOTES:
Kaoru has no powers to be minimized. In this AU, he is 22 years old, though I doubt I will be able to get his icons to reflect that as well I'd like. He is Japanese, but knows French and English quite well. He has been in Italy for about two months and is starting to get the hang of Italian, but not quite. Also, Kaoru wears colored contacts to get the yellow-eyed appearance and his hair has been dyed since he was very small to get the auburn color.
